Introduction
Last June Dr. Sharon Stone, Martha Lucia and team visited every “old” county in England giving a specific prophetic word for each county. It was a cry for God’s people to stand in the gap so that England would align with the plans and purposes of God
Context of tour
All is not lost, but we have to respond to turn judgement – we need to play our part (as a county) that will cause the nation to turn.
Round the Mountain
This county is in the process of repeating the cycle if the church doesn’t rise at this time.
Gone through blessing then barrenness etc (in the economic realm as well).
It’s a cycle and it will repeat itself again. For example - Rover, Jaguar – being shaken economically. We can go around the mountain again or we can deal with strongholds
Two Major Strongholds in the County
1.Spirit of Poverty – not only financial
Poverty violates God’s order and produces instability – God wants us to stand on behalf of nation. This doesn’t mean we are the poorest place but it is a stronghold in Warwickshire and victory will be from this historic county. We will invade it with atmosphere of blessing and glory from heaven.
Mindset of the Poverty Spirit
Poverty refuses to fulfil the destiny of God
Expects lack
We believe in the spirit of the age more than God
We don’t believe God can do the things he said
Occurs when there are various spiritual atmospheres
Wrong authority structures can cause poverty to grow
Joseph’s
Gen 45 : Joseph anointed to keep people out of poverty, to keep them from never having enough to keep them from structures so they couldn’t receive blessing. He was anointed.
If we have a man who can do this for a people group isn’t it possible that we can have a region that will do this for the sake of the nation?
The Harvest
The cause of poverty is failure to harvest what God has given us to harvest. God has brought early harvest and we’ve not been ready to harvest – when we lose the opportunity it’s a type of poverty.
E.G. Gideon - whenever Israel planted crops the Midianites invaded and ruined the crops, ravaged the land and Midian impoverished the Israelites so they cried to the Lord.!!
We must recognise harvest and gather - it will come against spirit of poverty.
2. Spirit of Religion
This spirit can sustain us when the poverty spirit robs of hope so don’t have a way out and not expecting a way out. Religious spirits limits us and people begin to operate in flesh/intellectually – God doesn’t want us to go around again. He doesn’t want the false ceiling. Limitation has to be cast off. God is jealous over lordship.
Why a religious spirit?
Why do we see church divided, jealousy, frictions? – because it is a territory where spiritual things are to grow. If a religious spirit is here it kills spiritual things.
There are diverse cultures here because soil is covered by religious spirit and they can be comfortable here – it is easy to put down “spiritual” roots here. We are not against people groups but God hates idolatry. We want nations to come and be blessed in our area but we will have no other gods. We have to change the lordship in area.
This is the County that has the most mosques so we have to say “This day you’re coming down” - David said to Goliath. “I come against you in the name of the Lord of Hosts. This day the Lord will hand you over to me. The battle is the Lord’s and this day he will give all of you into our hands.”
Part of fruit of these 2 spirits is idolatry. Jeremiah spoke judgement on Babylon but said God’s people must come out. Jer 51:45 “Come out of her my people…”You have to make sure not partnering with these spirits “come out”
War
How do we war? Why do we war? – it enforces the victory
There is a day of contending and conflicting in the day of battle. In day of peace we will rest in peace, in day of building we will build. So whatever it is we find God doing we will do and God is declaring war on spirit of poverty/religious don’t be afraid to go to war. It is necessary to war for enemy to be put down
New Level of Authority
We are created to understand that his power is already there for us. God is calling this region into a new level of authority. We have tasted it but God wants us to live in power environment. We need to use our authority to purchase freedom for the land or it will still remain in bondage despite revival, reformation, renewal. We need to use authority to progress Kingdom of God not to sustain and maintain church
Encouragement
The Lord wants to encourage us with this. You are called to lay hands on sick & see healing, speak to mountains and see them cast into sea, to raise the dead to touch multitudes so that nations will turn. This is not pie in sky. There is not another county that God has said this to (about strongholds).
Canals
God says, I have put the canals in this region that I might put the promise before you. Those that are planted by my waters will be blessed in every season. I have put my waterways in the midst of you that you might be reminded. The Lord says that idolatry has come in and they have seeded and claimed the waters for the moving of spirits. God says I am asking you again to take back the waterways. Dedicate those things afresh.
Economic Revolution
There is an ability to pioneer economic revolution from this county to affect the nation. If this is the case there will be a war to wage. God is saying that there is an anointing to pioneer the next economic revolution. Spirit of Poverty resists that pioneering of economic things. God wants stewarding of kingdom projects and kingdom funds in this area. He wants us to be a gathering place from the heart of the nation.
The greatest area of giving when there is a disaster comes from the Midlands!
Building
Ps 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.”
We want the Lord to build his house and guard cities BUT if we want his protection he has to be the one who builds the house. It’s important for this area –
In this area we have the highest terrorists plots uncovered and exposed of any region in England. We have his protection covering us. If God builds he will protect our cities.
NB: For the next phase of our destiny we don’t want to do it our way, we don’t want it after mans image. We need to go where you go do what you are doing we need to say “God have your way.” - that is what we are looking for.
1King 6:12 God says to Solomon “As for this temple you are building if you follow my ways – I will fulfill all the promises through you I promised to David and I will dwell among my people!
Under the Hammer
1King 6/7 Building the temple – v7 “No hammer or axe heard in the house” – but we’ve been under the hammer, we have seen God having us under hammer but we are at the building site now where the church is emerging in a fresh way of visibility that is to take on injustice in the region .
God is putting you in places of conflict deliberately so that you rise up in that place. Don’t be overwhelmed but be offended. Be offended that His name is mocked in our towns, schools etc. Don’t give up ground because don’t care – its our battle. God wants us to feel the conflict.
God is building by his spirit and we need to realise we need to do it his way. The day of power of God is at hand
Prophesies for Specific Places
Coventry
I have made you an historic area. I have given you a great history. I have given you proof of your history on your right and left. But I am doing a work in you so you will not look to the past but look to the future. Even now I am turning your head that you might look ahead. The best is yet ahead of you. I will let you review your history but my promise to you is that history is not repeating itself - the best is yet to come.
Solihull
I have caused the Romans to build you. They built for a purpose and they saw a garrison and a beautiful resting place on the inside of you. I have built you for my resting place and a place of restoration. I want to bring forth healing even more as a refuge place where people who deserve judgement receive mercy.
Birmingham
I have caused you to be a people who know how to give up the fishing pole and use the nets. I have required of you a greater unity or all the catch might be lost. I haven’t called you to user friendly services but I have called you to demonstrate who I am and not to protect others from the moving of my spirit. It is not the god of words but the God of power that has the ability to invade your area and take back your streets. And I want to do it in the midst of you.
Rugby
The Lord says I am going to expose and uncover those things in the midst of you. You are a big town with a little village mentality. I am going to take the things that have been done in secret and I am going to take the good old boys club and the people doing things not necessarily according to a righteous standard but just doing things that suit themselves and are convenient - that are even in positions of authority. And God says I am going to pull back the covers, I am going to bring exposure in those places and I will cause those things that are not seen to be seen so that my righteous standard might be raised.
As you see this you will know the signs of the times - that I am beginning to do some new things even in the midst of your area.
Children
The Lord says it is because I am concerned for your children. Watch what I am going to do. Put your eyes on the schools even upon the classrooms. I am bringing forth my church to bring forth a watch with the young ones in schools. I will raise the standard in the midst of that place. I love your children even more than you love your children. I will not let them think that they can bring a lesser education or a perverted education or bring forth a place where other gods are exalted before the children. I am bringing forth my church that is going to stand as a gatekeeper over the children.
Release men and women right now on assignment in Rugby.
Two Areas that need prayer
Temple Balsall – Knights Templar came to this place first when returned from crusades. The place was given over to the Knights Templar.
Edgehill – place of battle in Civil War - death that wouldn’t be silent – several times a year people say they see the ghosts of army of dead – still something stirring. Need to apply the death/blood of Jesus to the land.

WAR - even your name has drawn war to this place
Need to take up the sword – who will handle it? Will we take it – we can forbid the enemy to have it. Time to rise with the sword of spirit and believe we have the authority.
God will give us the nations – do we want them?

As you kneel in prayer you will see the supernatural happen and I will confirm it with signs and wonders that will fall into your very lap.
